HE ALREADY owns a number of luxury cars including two Rolls-royces, a Cadillac Escalade and Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, but now UFC fighter Conor Mcgregor has added a sports yacht to his list of luxury boy toys.

In October last year, the fighter and Irish whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve, forked out a whopping R15million for a Lamborghini yacht.

His Lamborghini Tecnomar 63, which is the Italian car manufacturer's first entry into the sport yacht world and one of only 63 yachts of its kind, was finally completed and transported from the construction site on Tuesday this week.

The father of two, who according to Forbes was worth R700 million last year, took to Instagram to share a snapshot of his magnificent luxury liner being transported from site on top of a large orange trailer.

The 24 ton, 19.2m long yacht can reach a top speed of 111km/h and boasts 4000 horsepower from its pair of V-12 diesels.

Inspired by the iconic sports car, the yacht has an angular and futuristic design with Y-shaped headlamps and the famous Lamborghini logo.

There is also a dashboard based on Lamborghini's mid-engined hybrid sports car, the Sián FKP 37, a stark contrast to the typical layouts used by yachts.

The yacht’s exterior is inspired by the Lamborghini Miura and Countach from the 1960s and 1970s, the former of which famously appeared in the opening sequence of the 1969 film The Italian Job.

Among the yacht’s other swanky features is a private bedroom space in the lower quarters, offering a cosy spot to relax while the boat cruises through the sea, as well as a dining space perfect for Conor to entertain guests.

Last year when he first started on his luxury speed yacht he took his fiancée Dee Devlin and their children Conor jr, 3, and Croia, 2, along to pick out swatches for the interior.

He posted an image captioned, “The No12 'Mcgregor edition' Lamborghini's first entry into the Sport Yacht World comes in the form of this 63 foot, 4000bhp, duel engine, twin turbo, rocket ship! Titled the ‘Supercar of the Sea’.

“I am honoured to secure the Number 12 edition of just 63 to be made. 1963 being the year Lamborghini first began, and 12 being, well you know twelve!”
