JOBURG Theatre in association with the City of Johannesburg entities Joburg City Parks and Zoo and City Power are excited to present the annual Joburg Festival of Lights featuring an enchanting collection of illuminated life-size animal characters and classical, harmonious entertainment, and a food and craft night market for visitors to the Joburg Zoo.

The festival marks its third year on the Jozi Festival Calendar with new features to join the magnificent animal sculptures together with illuminated trees within the zoo, combined with exciting live entertainment offerings.

As the year approaches the front porch and step of the festive door, the Festival of Lights opens up the programming with a performance by Joburg Ballet’s Nutcracker, one of the most popular and beloved classical ballets in the world.

Bikos Manna, a young sibling band with musical skills beyond their age, is ready to serenade guests and welcome them to this year’s festival with a cheery and soft warm glow performance under a stream of lights!

And of course, the programme adds a signature performance by singer and songwriter Xoli B and the award-winning vocalist Brenda Mtambo, spreading love through music and entertainment, adding to the lights that reflect the season of joy with singalong Christmas carols.
