ACTING Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has blasted Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu’s actions, saying she wrote an opinion piece like a young person with no facts, after she penned a scathing article about the country’s judiciary. Justice Zondo said Sisulu’s piece, which appeared on Africa News Global and IOL recently, titled “Hi Mzansi, have we seen justice?” was insulting to African judges. Sisulu had questioned black judges, saying they were “mentally colonised”. Justice Zondo said: “It should not be acceptable that a member of Parliament and the executive should, without any facts, choose to insult the judiciary.”
