OPINION

THE Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (Denosa) Student Movement is marching in Tshwane today to deliver a memorandum of grievances to the South African Nursing Council and the chief nursing officer. The student movement said it was unhappy about the challenges in nursing education. Concerns include the Personal and Salary System being replaced by a bursary system. “Student nurses are no longer catered for in many of their requirements for training,” said the movement. It also said nursing students were sleeping in university libraries without food. |
