It is clear that the politicians are not there to help the poor and needy. It is all about their families. Sihle Zikalala went from premier to MEC? He failed to implement when was in the premier position. What would he do in the MEC position? @DknMohammed

The redeployment of Sihle Zikalala to the KZN executive proves one thing: the ANC is one. If he failed to implement socio-economic transformation while premier, what will make him do it now as Cogta MEC? We have an ANC problem. @Nomcebo77985492

What happens when an MEC gets recalled? Do they still receive a salary from the provincial government, or is it considered fired, no remuneration?

Sihle Zikalala was not elected by Ankolans to be premier. Why did he not stay with the people with ANC resolutions of RET? New Dawn does not approve of ANC conference resolutions, hence they do not implement any. They amended stepaside to fit DA policy. @Kabelo_K_B

Sihle Zikalala is a coward though. He hooked himself up with a MEC post while some of the MECs he previously appointed have been purged. He should have refused the post as a true leader.

I knew Sihle would not have survived to retain his position. The arrest of Jacob Zuma hurt almost the entire province of KZN, hence there was a loss in key metros and municipalities JZ is the face of KZN whether you like it or not. @DimitryHlonisky

So Zikalala was actually pressured to resign and comply. So, he would be given an MEC position? What he said in his speech at the presser is contrary to this move.
